under siege report, it appears that James Corbett was successful. He successfully diverted attention away from many serious issues raised in our initial report. He successfully glossed over the testimony and first hand accounts from several witnesses and colleagues of Vanessa Biele and Eva Bartlett. For example, like Dr. Barbara McKenzie, who testified to the fact that Vanessa Biele pressured her to omit facts from her work. In 2016,7/27
I wrote an article referring to the liberation of Malula and Vanessa Biele contacted me and essentially ordered me to remove all references to his balar. None of this meant anything to Vanessa Biele. She wanted me to change my article to sense my article on her say so and most strangely not to mention that it was on her say so. Does James Corbett endorse this type of8/27
behavior? Do the viewers endorse this type of behavior of omitting facts, changing the story to suit one's own political or personal beliefs? Corbett went on to successfully whitewash the violence-ridden message from Eva Bartlett about a fellow journalist and justified it by saying... a private conversation with someone, please raise your hand now. Now just imagine anyone trying to use that argument in court. Oh come on, judge, like you never said you wanted to punch someone. The truth is that this type of behavior cannot be justified and should not be endorsed or whitewashed by anyone. American who was on the ground with Eva Bartlett inside Syria. His first hand accounts of his experience with Eva Bartlett inside Syria cannot be whitewashed, should not be overlooked and raise some very key and important concerns that everyone needs to be aware of. Overall James Corbett's entire one and a half hour rant was constructed in such a way to spin the situation in divert attention away11/27
from our witnesses and their testimony and documentation. His entire report was meant to turn Vanessa Biele and Eva Bartlett into the innocent victims of a cynical hit piece. Now this is the same James Corbett who proudly introduces himself to his audience as an anarchist, someone who was anti-government and anti-establishment. While he successfully omitted the fact that Vanessa Biele has openly called for journalists to be jailed,12/27
imprisoned under anti-terror laws asking all UK citizens to report everyone on a list which she provided to the government, to be arrested and even when as far as providing a link where they could report them without providing any evidence of any terrorist connections. Now why did Corbett conveniently leave out this damning fact from his one and a half hour rant that only seemed to focus on13/27
Sebel Edmunds in her Twitter account and not our report and not our witnesses and their testimony? Why would Corbett or anyone else for that matter support the jailing of journalists? This is a shocking escalation that is not a joke and cannot be ignored. Biele openly calling for journalists to be jailed, then providing a list of who to jail and then a link of where to report14/27
them should send shivers down the spine of every journalist and their audiences. But Corbett thought it wasn't important enough to include in his report or maybe he forgot or I guess maybe he condones that type of behavior or maybe he was trying to divert your attention from this type of dangerous behavior, emphasis on dangerous. These calls to action should not be taken lightly as they can15/27
have some serious consequences. Now just imagine for a moment if it was the mainstream media who came out calling for journalists to be jailed, who provided a list of who to jail and a link of where you could report them to the government. Do you think Corbett would remain silent? Just as he has done here, Corbett successfully engages in whitewashing this duo's consistent and repeated assault16/27
on international war doctors, not only that he appears to condone and support their attacks. Another example of reckless behavior can be seen here. As a Swedish doctors organization is strongly asking for people to stop spreading misinformation online. This is in reference to a report that was released by the Swedish doctors organization about a year ago that stated their analysis of white helmets videos showed that the17/27
videos were staged or faked and showed life-saving techniques on dead children and that they used dead children as props for their propaganda. Now the misinformation that was spread twisted their report to state that the Swedish doctors organization accused the white helmets of actually killing the children. A statement that the Swedish doctor organization vehemently denies. Now the misinformation was spread by veterans today, Vanessa Bealey and many18/27
others that promoted this false information stating that the Swedish doctors accused the white helmets of killing children. This is another example of how this misinformation is dangerous. Once it's promoted, it's put out there on social media. It just continues on and on. Now why would Corbett go out of his way to defend and condone the actions by these two? And their misinformation campaigns, which endanger not19/27
only doctors and medics who were on the ground in Syria, but also Syrians who are badly in need of medical assistance themselves. Again, white washed by Corbett. Even the Swedish doctors organization issued a statement debunking their false claims. Corbett was successful in violating one of the main ethical journalism principles by refusing to include any comment and or responses from anyone involved in our report. He successfully20/27
disregarded and omitted witnesses and documentation, testifying to cases of plagiarism and falsification of information. James Corbett, who has been very proactive in catching and exposing one-sided bias by many mainstream media outlets, successfully fails to issue any disclaimer on Bealey and Bartlett's one-sided bias reporting, omitting the facts that this duo's reporting has been sanctioned and supported by one party directly involved in the Syrian conflict. Corbett successfully provides zero counterargument to the needed disclaimer stating this duo's partial financing by the Syrian government should be openly disclosed so that the viewers are aware and that they know they are only getting one side of the story, a state-sponsored side of the story. Now how can Corbett do all of this with a straight face? After going after dozens of other media outlets for exactly22/27
the same violations, bias, highly questionable funding and allegiances? While he certainly demonstrated that he has no problem with being a hypocrite, engaged in belligerent double standards, and practices that he accuses others of in participating in. There is only one word for this. Wrong. Now, newsbud has ceased all communications with Corbett report. We sent emails and inquiries to Corbett from Sebel Edmonds and others, including for myself,23/27
where I was accused of being engaged in intimidation against Corbett, which is utter nonsense. Now, we send several communications prior to Corbett issuing his weak spin story. It's truly sad to see how low James Corbett has stooped from a serious YouTuber with in-depth analysis and reporting whom I personally respected, to featuring and promoting social media tabloid operatives who spread false information. Corbett's video was to omit, distract, whitewash, and divert attention away from the very real and very serious issues in our report, from firsthand testimony, from witnesses who know Billy and Bartlett, from former colleagues who worked with Billy and Bartlett, from people who were on the ground in Syria, with Bartlett, do not be fooled. I have to say, I am beyond disappointed in the new path and25/27
style chosen by James Corbett. For years, as BFB, we not only supported James and his work financially, but we also vouched for his integrity and disciplined fact-checking reputation. It appears he has thrown all those principles out the window. He has gone from being a serious and in-depth YouTuber analyst to entertainment and shallow self-promotion. His hypocrisy and double standards on media bias and propaganda will render all26/27
his future work questionable at best. He neither contacted me or anyone at news, but with any questions or requests for comments for this lame, hysteric, hypocrisy-ridden rant. That alone depicts the man who is defending and indefensible. Unlike him, I won't publicly air what I know about him and the main reasons for his major change since summer 2017. These are not issues I would air publicly to27/27
embarrass him. Instead, I am publicly seizing all associations with James Corbett and his side. There will be many more reports by other media outlets exposing the two tabloid reporters he failed to screen for facts. With each expose, James Corbett will be left as a hysteric YouTuber who helped promote and disseminate malicious propaganda. Once the legacy will live.
