so I just want to see a show of hands of who has a dream alright now looks like a lot of you guys now I also have a dream and you know what I'm actually living my dream right now because I always wanted to do a Ted talk then light on my list for an hour okay so I'm not actually here to tell you why intrinsic
motivation and we hear it's how you how to use it and how so when I'm talking to you I just want you to think about yourself and just kind of applying what I'm saying okay so don't really think about me although I will tell you my story so try not hearing grand canine what I have noticed is that there are paths that are getting %HESITATION you
know you college students here are just an example of that because you're studying you know some of the things you know political science there's finance there's law and these are the hot Chics that are given to us right so what it is is that I want to show you your unconventional path to success alright so they are people out there who apply for jobs go for
interviews and don't have the qualifications and where I'm going with this is that because they're applying for jobs say in the radio or on TV you are in the heart %HESITATION you know to be a dancer or you know musician but you don't have a qualification so one of the things that I would fly for and I actually use this title and I don't know exactly
multimedia sound technician and C. E. O. of major production and pretty much as you see there just literally producing music in your bedroom and sometimes you know dissemble things like this you build on your own scales but to apply it in real life and a real functioning business if it always practical stop a few steps that I take it because I might have to it's sad
I wouldn't call the most original I'm not an accountant I'm not a lawyer I'm not you know a big star yes I but I have taken steps and it's only until I actually look back on my life that I actually realized that I've created this path yeah using my intrinsic motivation the things that are inside of me things like self believe self love you know these
are the things that I actually focused on and I don meditation I have done I you know just doing self practice things where you know it's like simply looking at yourself in the mirror telling yourself that you're beautiful I actually have on my near three mantras and one of them is every day you can start a new beginning and that's exactly what I do no matter
how light show Inez up the day before or whatever may have happened if I go to sleep and I wake up and I'm a new person and you know I think a lot of us or we actually tend to base our success on extreme think things like the praise this you tax the amount of money that you earn and at one point in my life I
actually based myself value of how much money I had and I found that after some time that that was not a right I. D. ought to have because if you are unemployed how much do you value yourself now one thing that I did when trying to move forward and her grass in life and I mean section or anything that I was interested in it I try
to learn so much about that and if I was not able to say a choir scholarship or attend school what I did to gain my prediction is that I taught that people I would literally sat up a classroom so my first classroom that I sat up with a dance club I was about sixteen years old and my students were probably the same age as I was
and even younger and pretty much what I did was I taught the students and I said Hey this is what you do and I taught them how to teach and just ask them to bring more students and when you start with an idea with a spark you know you have masses and now is the social media you don't even have to start a class you just
need a camera get in front of that and distribute your talent or skill and that's taking you have a prediction without educators now this picture may be very silly yeah Disney princess and I love princess is vital if so every single one of these they have such a unique story right and I find that in life everybody has a unique story and what I have also
done is I have surrounded myself with like minded now they may not be deceived E. Disney they may be a lot older than me but I try to identify with people on different levels and you know this has been one of the greatest benefits because if you meet someone and you know they're back round how easy it is to ask them questions and learn so much
more on the point there as opposed to you or verse is signing up for a class paying for it waiting to get their you know this is so much easier just finding people who are where you want to be and keep doing the things that you wanted to now once you have found those people and you ask them a whole ton of questions you have to
share your dreams what that and sometimes they can help you get that dream done where they can give you advice you know sometimes the people may not be super close to you but one of the things that I found is you know asking your parents your peers and those same people what they think of you and I always ask people what they think of me I
always ask them what they think of my dreams and different ways that they think that I can make my dream come true there are times where some of those people may say well your dream is not realistic but that should not make you stop dreaming we should continue to dream and share your dream whether it's with those people all social media or wherever just so that
you can get where you need to be and a credit yourself and back to that ask questions asking questions is very very important I went throughout my high school career just asking all of the questions that I wanted to know I literally sat in my science class and asked my teacher why is water what and the classroom just like burst out in laughter and I thought
the little bad but then I got up and I was like well do you know why and nobody can answer the question and sometimes some of our questions don't even have answers but the question just needs to be out so that's you can start to think in that respect now with all that I hope you guys are all still thinking about yourself and everything that I
set one thing that I challenge you to do is literally make a list for everything this is something that I do on a daily basis whether it is making a list for what I need to Mar out when I needed you and I also meet some list for those so I created a list of larger things that I wanted to do %HESITATION in a year so
I had ten things on that list one beating this Ted talk what would not particularly this Ted talk eight and you know a year had passed and it was still on my list and I have a vision board where I put like all of these different pictures all these little sayings and everything and I just kept this last on there and I'm like NASA of these
things are not getting done and with me and the way that I think a I think that I think the way I see and what I mean by that is that I and I need your site in person so I take out my contacts right now I cannot see any of your case is I can see the closest thing that's up to me so one day
I was actually just you know coming up soon use easy I wanted to order a transcript I opened the door and as I pulled the door closer to me I saw the sign Ted talk and I said wow I have to do this I literally got onto my phone on Instagram like a like a like a guy I really want to do is I thought I'm
gonna do it I signed up got accepted and here I am so with all that make your list make yourself less and start taking things off and as you start taking things off you'll see your successful path now each one of our Lester all going to be different my list is completely different from yours come here to everybody else's and this is your unconventional success turned
cans into cans remember those negative people who told you that you can't do anything keep them in your life because they are going to be the people who you want to prove wrong and just show that just you know be positive about what you wanted you take notes everywhere you can continue learning and be a sponge yes but that's what I did leading up to this
Ted talk I just met people I learned and so did so much ideas and I wanted to record them and I'm like the only good news you should be doing that had but all of you know life takes on different paths and I told myself that I can and that I will and lastly but not least believe in yourself because no matter how many people you
have around you who will tell you that you can or you can't or no matter what they say to you you still have to believe in yourself that you can't do it now six that's he means so many different things tell any of us it could mean having a ton of money in the bank it could mean as having a call it could be achieving your
