[Music] it's been called the world's most popular game that you've never heard of an online video game called roblox and it has over 40 million users it advertises itself as an all-ages video game but it's mainly geared towards kids news but just received a copy of three separate criminal complaints filed with federal state and local law enforcement agencies concerning roblox the complaint alleges that a 19
year old adult targeted a young girl on the game roblox the adult posing as a child was able to make friends with a child and gain her trust the adult convinced the minor to share her private login information in hijacked her account locking the child out the parent who sent news but all of the documentation including screenshots of the communications and copies of the reports filed
with law enforcement informed us that they had also made four separate attempts to contact roblox using their official channels and have not received any response additionally roblox says on their website that the chat history can be monitored by parents although the parent who filed this complaint points out that after the predator blocked their account it automatically removed the chat history concealing much of the evidence of
the alleged crimes which the parent holds roblox accountable for essentially covering up evidence by removing the chat history so we looked into it and found several similar complaints have been made against roblox for providing a platform for adult online predators to engage in target children it appears most parents are not even aware of the online chat function which gives potential predators direct access to children but
here are just a couple examples of headlines to show how online adult predators are targeting children on roblox in a sexual manner girl six years old was sent a message on mobile gaming app roblox asking her to call a stranger daddy as mother warns perverts are using the chat feature to lure children to their homes video game roblox showed a seven-year-old girls being raped parents and
experts warned an adult online predator can easily disguise her identity even posing as other children and quickly gain the trust of unsuspecting children right under the parents noses having direct communication access with a child the Predators can extract information from a child that may potentially jeopardize their safety news bud has made multiple attempts via email and by phone to contact roblox for comment we are still
