involved in in the investigational off of him on the thirtieth and thirty first of March nineteen ninety three a series of UFO encounters took place over Great Britain the most interesting of which involved an occasion where two F. four spaces where I actually overflown by a large triangular with diamond shaped UFO and now the two establishments and involved in this are RES costs food and orea

subject came towards him at a speed of probably no more than twenty or thirty miles an hour very slow suddenly the light try to jump into the Croft and in instant it shot off to the horizon in in a matter of seconds and he said barren mind this is a an airforce officer with eight years experience in the service and he sees aircraft from false jets
everyday of his life and he said well speed this thing was probably about ten times the speed of an Air Force jet and %HESITATION when asked when I asked him at to estimate the Saudis of this this mystery Croft %HESITATION with typical military precision he said it was probably midway between a C. one thirty Hercules transport aircraft and a Boeing seven forty seven jumbo jet now
I launched a full investigation into this incident and in fact this was one or for a series of sightings that took place over the entire country on that particular night %HESITATION involving not just members of the public button numerous police officers particularly in the southwest of England and Wales and also in the Midlands now I made all the usual checks %HESITATION we impounded the radar tapes
and have them send top Pat to minister defense main building we checked the radar tapes at first we thought we might have something but we we eliminated that Howard has as really chest anomalous propagation and so we made all the series of checks that we possibly make checking for everything from satellite tracks into %HESITATION reentry into the earth's orbit of of sweat space debris to astronomical

back and he said well it's very interesting case but you've clearly Ronald the checks that you can maybe there is frankly nothing more we can do but Sam it's fascinating no I think when that went up the chain of command and I can't recall what I suspected did that whether it went to defense ministers %HESITATION or Norton and indeed sat up too chief of the defence
staff and secretary of state for defense watch I think whatever the nature of the unsatisfactory nature of the completion %HESITATION them we certainly changed a few people's minds they're about the whole nature of the UFO phenomenon and we got I think a number of senior civil servants and military offices to really realize on they'll watch as it were that this was not just stuff and nonsense
that the UFO phenomenon is not just lights and shapes in the sky it's real it's solid it can involve the military as much as anyone else and I think that that remains one of the most significant cases ever to have taken place in Britain and and frankly it shows %HESITATION if if indeed there is any doubt remaining the serious defense and national security issues raised by
the whole UFO phenomenon over the years there have been a number of %HESITATION films taken by military aircraft through gun cameras no unfortunately this film footage and again I checked it does not seem to exist anymore now interestingly %HESITATION one of my predecessors %HESITATION who headed up the division where I worked under its previous title of DS sites that is different secretariat hate was a man
called Ralph Noyes and he is someone who before his death also as a ministry of defense employee spoke count publicly about the reality the UFO phenomenon and %HESITATION made the point to all who would listen that there was a serious phenomenon here in the did need and deserve serious study now Ralph certainly did see those %HESITATION bits of film footage and Ralph fat told me and

UFO and Ralph Noyes told me that he and a Lisa people only asked off just sat around gasping with astonishment looking pointing wondering but but frankly not able to really take it that much further except again the %HESITATION implicit acknowledgment that there are things operating in our espace %HESITATION which have better capabilities than we did and when I say that of course I may include %HESITATION
the point about prototype Croft because one of the points that is often %HESITATION put forward about the UFO phenomenon is is the %HESITATION I suppose fairly reasonable %HESITATION question well couldn't it be that what you're saying when you talk about structured Croft with high speeds and %HESITATION extraordinary mini this is just the next generation of airforce and %HESITATION planes at prototype devices whether they be aircraft
or remotely piloted vehicles well speaking yes Sir a serving member of the mystery defense and having done the UFO job for three years I can tell anyone who makes that point that yes of course at any given time there are prototype aircraft and devices that we operate but we know where we operate terrain bits of kit we operate them in very carefully controlled and defined ranges
and danger areas and we do not make mistakes about Sir UFOs and prototypes we don't go chasing UFOs the prototype we can tell the difference so when the public sees something you know who knows it depends where they see it but we were talking about militarist sightings and when we're talking about the research investigation that I did if I had stumbled onto a prototype %HESITATION test
then a I would have known and be if I hadn't have known I would have been told and of course we would affect by today out of that that pretty quick Britain's most famous UFO case and is the Rendlesham forest incidents which is sometimes also referred to us as the band Portis case no that's involved a series of UFO incidents over a number of nights in
December of nineteen eighty involving the in fact they are nominally Roiland four spaces but in fact because they were operated by the United States airforce at RES I've been towards his Atari F. Woodbridge in Suffolk no here there were a series of encounters where some people swore I lights in the sky performing extraordinary maneuvers but perhaps much more significantly out on the first night of activity
%HESITATION people saw a structured metallic Croft actually moving not not up in the sky but right down pretty much at ground level moving through Rendlesham forest which joins the two bases and and at one point this small italic roughly triangular shaped craft seem to actually come down and land in a particular clearing now all the witnesses to this and a military personnel that trained observers that
they don't make mistakes some of the skeptics have suggested that this could have been a mistake can sighting of a nearby a lighthouse that's nonsense for two reasons firstly these were trained military observers who actually with film familiar with the lighthouse and swore it pretty much a every night of the tour of duty but secondly up at certainly at one point in the encounter the lighthouse
was clearly visible at the same time as the UFO so they simply could not have been the White House as as the skeptics say sometimes suggest you only have for well although of course this case %HESITATION predated my own tour of duty and really bite by ten years so little more and I reviewed the case and I look through the file and I tried to reopen
the investigation into this incident the most important thing that I was able to focus on was in fact physical evidence that something had taken place because often but they said crafted touch down people went bank in the light of day to the landing site and found that when they'd seen this Croft land they're wearing Frank three triangular by indentations in the forest floor what I mean
by that is that is there were three indentation which %HESITATION when you drew lines between them what pretty much in the shape of a perfect equilateral triangle no one of the things that that was done who was the attack the area was checked for radiation this is where I came in I took the readings that it would take him it's important to say these readings peaked
in two places they peaked in the indentations themselves and also by some damage that was done to the sides of the trees in the clearing if this thing had to come down in time snapped off some branches and stripped of symbolic as it had done so either coming in or going out you know alright St figures that have been recorded at the time by lieutenant colonel
Charles holds who was the deputy base commander himself a witness some of these incidents I put my same the data from Holtz and his team to the defense radiological protection service and which part of the ministry defense and they came back to me and they where frankly bemused by this whole thing and they said that the the radiations from the indentations in the ground with ten
times background for that area ten times what they they should have been no of course it is important to say that the levels were still comparatively low %HESITATION holds and his team were not endangered by this this was still low level radiation but again looking at it from a scientific point of view that's not the point the point is that when compared with the as it
