name was Tom Hamilton %HESITATION he was on Kwajalein missile range and most of the people that war in the group if the missile range transferred to the spitting in the area of the country %HESITATION my father basically %HESITATION very conservative was race Republican %HESITATION I was very active in the LDS church growing up %HESITATION I say what that is but you don't know it %HESITATION the
Mormon church or latter days latter day saints church %HESITATION which is a very conservative usually most people that are in the church a Republican base we we basically my father is very conservative is nature %HESITATION we would do he would bring a lot of equipment home time to time %HESITATION we keep it in the garage and then it would disappear %HESITATION he would take it back
to wherever he was %HESITATION this whole story released begins when %HESITATION after he retired and this was in nineteen ninety three %HESITATION I was working in an export business and was going back and forth between %HESITATION San Francisco area and and %HESITATION Munich Germany and my father and I hooked up over there and was one of the first times ever really never had the opportunity interact
with him and to %HESITATION converse with them and %HESITATION we said in the beer garden in Munich and %HESITATION he basically had been withholding a tremendous amount of %HESITATION %HESITATION truths and he'd come to a point where he wanted to share with me a little bit more about himself and who he was because I felt that he had neglected me growing up and %HESITATION and he

me that he was going for a Q. Clarence and he I did he was a GS sixteen rated and government service %HESITATION he'd started at white sands missile range in his career %HESITATION and then continued on through his whole career during the same direction %HESITATION and %HESITATION we did there it my mother was working as a legal secretary at the time and and there was people
that were following us from our house they were not even trying to be secret about it they were just kinda like an unmarked police vehicles and cars like that and we didn't really think anything of it because you know my dad told us that what I happen and that was that was something that was a little bit unusual that it occurred and then there's been some
other things that occurred with with Tom Hamilton %HESITATION I didn't make the connection ordered I see Tom Hamilton for years and when I was in high school we're finishing up a %HESITATION baseball a game and %HESITATION my father had stopped said I wanted to go but his I wanna go see a friend and we pulled into %HESITATION a bar and we went into the bar and
my father had never my father doesn't drink or anything like this %HESITATION I guess he felt that will have to go and but when I went inside there was Tom Hamilton that I hadn't seen since I was five or six years old and %HESITATION that's when the first connection was made that that Tom was still acting as my father's boss or and Tom Edison beer drinking
problem use of very heavy alcoholic and I remember that as a kid you %HESITATION and then that's what started the whole perspective of what is my father do you know the plays that he gets on worries what is he doing where's he going %HESITATION what kind of equipment is he bringing home but I do remember him getting frustrated at one time when he took a bunch
of equipment that he had %HESITATION to Dreamland and one of the rules he told me is that nothing comes out of there this is anything that comes in there stays there even all the trash and everything and %HESITATION he also did a lot of TTY trips to %HESITATION mercury marquis %HESITATION temp it's a temporary assignment of duty yeah I %HESITATION but he would do a lot

don't think my father would've told me any of this if you hadn't been intoxicated and I think as the years get older that right now my father is a very miserable person because he doesn't have any family anymore %HESITATION retired he's he's a very wealthy %HESITATION and we really don't understand a lot of where he gets a lot of his funding as money %HESITATION because we
we we were raised upper middle class but we we we did have excessive anything %HESITATION but he is suspicious to you given the kind of project well it well you know you know I'm working hard right now my mother's working hard right now %HESITATION you know we're all working and my father is going to club meds all around the world you know one after the other
%HESITATION bored with this life and unfilled %HESITATION in his I saw I think that I think they're so much withholding issues that it's dealt with in this area that it's really clouds clouded his vision all the government has lots of secrets and I I realize that we had knew everything on the missile range we had everything we could think of I mean abundance of everything %HESITATION
%HESITATION but it was it was also the years of I I I I wanna tell another story that are that it is very poignant and I I think I I'm just remembering this now and that is that we were watching TV and this is when stealth bomber had come out and %HESITATION my father got up out of his chair and %HESITATION it was the news and
he made a phone call and a few minutes later %HESITATION he was picked up part of the house and he said he'd be back in a few days so he told us and he laughed and %HESITATION when he came back he had said that %HESITATION president Carter had %HESITATION I had taken since a highly secretive information regarding the stealth technology and released it to the media
for the purpose of %HESITATION creating a political agenda for himself and other people but that what happened is that they were trying to figure out who where the leak occurred and my father was a suspect in that and there are some other people that were as well and that was I was in eleventh grade that occurred and that was very very interesting well %HESITATION we didn't
really have %HESITATION we didn't really operate as a family unit %HESITATION being open about our feelings everything was kept a secret and so that was carried on you know even my mother you know %HESITATION and so it it affected us is as human beings that eh you know when I graduated school it was very difficult to interact with people because I felt I felt that there
was a lot of of the discord that was going on and you know what is the truth and what is a lie and where did do they come together and so I had a lot of values about that headlight issues with that and the way that I dealt with that personally as I just left the scene the moment that I could financially and after my education
to go do what I wanted to do and just ignore him and we really capped at a at a distance for quite a number of years until the encounter in Germany where he he broke down to me I I do it's amazing that I remember some of these names like Tom Hamilton because he was I think he was such a main psychological visualization of somebody that
I would see a number of years apart and he was always drinking martinis and you know he was trying to cover up the pain and and that's the way I look at it now it's like there is a there is a pain that he was covering up being involved with all of us and and his son Timothy I mean that I kind of saw later number
of years later you know had a lot of same issues that that I did with my father I mean didn't really interact with them a lot of secrets but a separation but my father had a lot of access I remember going up to secure areas on range sixty one which is a just east of town a pa it's mostly that whole area east of town a
paw and %HESITATION he had all the keys and all the codes and and you know special badges he would you know we go through lock security gates and then take %HESITATION you know government trucks a government vehicles and I was always amazed because my father was a military man really despise the military %HESITATION didn't really respect a lot of the operating officers you know he would
always say %HESITATION Mister Edwards or somebody else like him he always had something something negative to say so always contention going between the civilians and the military who did he work for well the civil service so what brand %HESITATION he was a GS sixteen and which is a government service rated I think it's I think it's an equivalent to what like a lieutenant colonel would be
if you were to a paramedic he did have some sort of authority in that direction force that goes yeah airforce it I think they just really added up when he started telling me that he really wasn't the optical engineer that he told me he was and %HESITATION that he was involved with a number of different scientist and he had a part in this team to create
a new energy source and that's what they were they were doing it I think that it had to do with the promotion that he had the it was called a cue Clarence but %HESITATION and I did change a lot of %HESITATION markings on his badge I mean you have a badge and has photo on it and there's a number of squares that went all the way
around it and for years it was only certain squares filled and and then when he received a southern Clarence then there was all of them fell then except just a few that weren't filled then so I don't think he had complete access so it is very clear to anybody studies it's all there just in the morning most important things for your other works I would get
