well I went to the airforce on December the tenth nineteen forty one three days after Pearl Harbor had quite a bit of flying time before I went in Seoul and went through kid at school and he graduated in November of forty two shortly thereafter rose overseas and it up in Indonesia airforce and it's a pilot on the side teens %HESITATION I survived twenty nine missions combat

when we figured out why we would give them a call and none about that time the first officer hit the auto auto pilot release button and went back to manual control and as I was looking out the window by the this this thing that we had vision this thing that we saw disappeared back towards the left of the airplane and to our rear at a very

some reason or other the magnetic force was interrupted because the aircraft to veer off course is it's it's hooked up to the compass all three compasses we're giving different readings which is very unusual so what we gathered wasn't listened enormous magnetic force in whatever that's ball was that we saw there that white light after we have turned the %HESITATION autopilot off in the first officer straightened
out the airplane and it we were advised to proceed direct to Albany because see Albany up ahead of us about seventy five miles or so in the bright lights from the city and the magnetic interference at dead men working it made the compasses %HESITATION all different %HESITATION reading sonnet all returned to normal after we had we you know leveled off and started back again and in
the the object had disappeared away from us everything returned to a normal state was very it was round very very bright lights %HESITATION that's hard to describe the intensity of it because it was I've said before that the in the intensity of a flash bulb you'll fashion flash bulbs but it didn't light up the inside of the airplane just wait wait bright light wrong there is
no danger involved or we could see %HESITATION it does took off and went back and disappeared out of sight it down he didn't try to make any attack on a certain that one thing the Thea the co pilot said and this has to go into your records he looked out the window crosses cockpit antigen nieces I can hardly wait till I get home tell my sons
